Products & Ingredients 

• Are your products natural?
  Our products are made with thoughtfully chosen oils, butters, and fragrance blends. We focus on skin comfort, performance, and long-term wearability—not buzzwords.
• Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
  Yes. Many of our formulas are designed with sensitive skin in mind and avoid common irritants. We always recommend patch testing, especially if you have known sensitivities.
• Are your products vegan or cruelty-free?
  Our products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Some items may contain ingredients like beeswax or honey—those will always be clearly noted.
• Do your soaps dry out the skin?
  No. Our soaps are formulated to cleanse without stripping, leaving skin comfortable—not tight.

Scent & Fragrance

• How strong are your scents?
  Our scents are present but never overpowering. They’re designed to sit close to the skin and linger softly rather than announce themselves.
• How do I choose a scent if I can’t smell it online?
  We describe scents based on mood and feel—not just notes. If you prefer subtle, clean, warm, or moody profiles, our descriptions will guide you there.
• Are the same scents available across all products?
  Many scents are available across soap, beard, body, and home. Availability will always be listed on each product page.
• Do scented products smell the same in every format?
  They’re intentionally similar, but each product type can carry scent slightly differently due to the base ingredients.
• “Will this come in other scents?”                                                                           We design each scent to live where it belongs. Not every fragrance is meant for skin, and not evert body scent should fill a room. For that reason, not all scents are available across every product.                                                                              When we expand a scent into a new format, it's intentional - never automatic. If something new becomes available you'll see it announced first. 

Beard & Body Specific

• Will beard oil make my beard greasy?
  No. Our beard oils are designed to absorb quickly and soften without leaving residue when used as directed.
• What’s the difference between beard oil and beard balm?
  Beard oil conditions skin and hair. Beard balm adds light hold and shape while sealing in moisture.
• Can I use body products on my face or beard?
  We recommend using products as labeled—each formula is designed for its specific purpose.

Orders, Shipping & Returns

• How long does shipping take?
  Orders typically ship within 2–4 business days. Shipping times may vary during launches or holidays.
• Do you accept returns or exchanges?
  Due to the nature of personal care products, we’re unable to accept returns on used items. If there’s an issue with your order, contact us—we’ll make it right.
• What if I don’t like the scent I chose?
  Scent is personal. If you’re unsure, we recommend starting with one product or exploring lighter profiles first.

Why Tallow?

We choose ingredients based on how they perform on skin — not trends.

Beef tallow has been used in soapmaking for centuries because its fatty acid profile closely mirrors the skin’s own natural barrier. The result is a bar that cleans thoroughly while remaining remarkably gentle and conditioning.

Our tallow is carefully rendered, purified, and blended with a small number of complementary oils to create a soap that feels creamy, balanced, and calm on the skin.

It’s not a statement.

Where do you source your tallow?

We source our beef tallow from a small, family-run butcher in Wisconsin.

Their tallow is carefully rendered and purified, then further refined by us for use in soapmaking. We chose them for their consistency, quality, and respect for traditional methods.

It’s a straightforward partnership built on trust and craftsmanship — the same values we bring to every bar we make.

 

Is this soap vegan?

No. Our bar soaps are made with purified beef tallow.

We choose ingredients based on how they perform on skin, not to meet a label trend. Tallow has been used in traditional soapmaking for centuries and creates a bar that is exceptionally gentle, creamy, and well-balanced.

If you’re looking for a vegan soap, this may not be the right fit — and that’s okay. We believe in being clear about what we make so you can choose what aligns best with you.

 

Do you test on animals?

No. We do not test our products on animals.

Our formulas are developed using well-established soapmaking practices and ingredients with long histories of safe use. We work with suppliers who do not conduct animal testing on cosmetic ingredients.
